Henfold Birds of Prey
Another fantastic day out in good company with the Meetup Group!
On the advice of a friend, I organised a trip to Henfold Birds of Prey who have a small centre just south of Dorking. Barry has a good selection of Birds which were set up and flown for us to shoot, giving us a day of photography which was an absolute treat!
I couldn't begin to guess how many shots were taken between us, or the percentage of blurred shots. The owls were the easiest to photograph in flight... the falcons a true test! Difficult to choose a shot to Blip but the winking Burrowing Owl is one of the first I saw which deserved a little treatment.
Some photos from the group are up,and many more will follow. Have a keek!
Amongst others 56Daisies came along. So good to see you Sue! The group is growing rapidly and it is honestly one of the best things I've started, next to blipping of course. The people who are coming along are simply wonderful. There's no pressure to be a fantastic photographer, although there are some who beat my ability by miles. Others don't use other than an iPhone or point and shoot. It's good to be out and about with sociable and fellow minded people. If any of you are local (ish) and would like to join in... have a look at the meetup group and come along. Our next outing will be to a Lavander Farm and Gilbert Whites Gardens in Selborne on Saturday, 5th July.
