Taking the day off!!

Realised that what i need is a day off.....so that's what i'm doing!

at last there are lovely apple blossoms on our trees......this image might change cos i'm taking myself off to Baddeck for lunch and a wander about.

In other news: we are having the septic systems pumped out today, the house plus 2 of the 3 cabins....it's only been 15 years.....gulp....i dread to think what he will have to pull out! apparently it's meant to get done every year.....i remember when we finally got ours done in my other home in Muskoka....it had only been 12 - 15 years also.....the guy was pretty amazed! so we'll see how that goes eh!

And in yet other news: i went into the studio this morning, expecting to feel the heat that gets generated when the kiln has been fired....nadda!!! for some reason we have ERROR displayed, so it didn't fire at all.....luckily my wonderful kiln guy (terry) is on it just now! A few years ago this would have caused me a major stress reaction.....but you know, with all that has happened in the past few weeks.....this is just a tiny hiccup.....so my firing schedule is way off.....small stuff that can be managed!
