Lilliputian Fern

Over the weekend Clickychick's Mum (FredaH) has been unwell and finally she decided it was due to a new medication they started her on after a recent spell of hospitalisation. She was exhibiting 5 of the very rare side effects which show in less than 1 person in 10,000.

This obviously necessitated a visit to the doctor asap. Fortunately by ringing first thing she got an appointment for 10:10. As I needed some things from town I went along, dropped them at the Health Centre and wandered into town and back (oh the joys of easy movement). The doctor confirmed CC's tentative diagnosis changed the medication and she is much improved. While I was waiting in the car at the Health Centre I spotted these tiny ferns. To give some scale the mortar between the sandstone blocks is standard pointing 10 - 15 mm wide.

FredaH was feeling fit enough that we popped into Bird's Bistro for some more bird food and then called for an early lunch at Cocklakes Farm Shop.

The afternoon was filled with more "reserve management" sorry gardening.
