Giant Sequoias

I took my Thai friend to see some of America's famous Redwood trees. They always amaze me. It's hard to capture them in perspective, and without perspective they just look like any other tree. But then you see them next to a tree that would make for a nice Christmas tree, and it looks like an pea on the ground in comparison. On average, these giant trees are 300-350 feet (90-105 meters) tall and have a diameter of about 20 feet (6 meters).
