Winter sunrise

After monomonday a bit of colour on Tuesday. Quite a bit of colour actually, so much you would have thought I'd cheated, so I knocked it back a little in Photoshop.

I'd just arrived at work and was cranking up my laptop. I couldn't resist quickly popping outside to watch the sky change.

I took some classic silhouettes of bare winter branches against the sky but I was feeling all arty and it was this impressionist shot that won me over when I reviewed.

Large is in your face ;-)

Such a good way to start the day, camera, sunrise and the temperature scraping double figures. So much promise and hope. Hope your day was a good one.
