Samurai Blue

World Cup fever has hit Japan. Everywhere people are wearing kits, colourS and badges. Samurai Blue is the nickname of the team here. Japan is the most successful team in Asia having qualified for the last five consecutive World Cups.

Football fans around the world don't have the best reputation. Not so the Japanese! After their 2-1 defeat against Ivory Coast, Japanese fans cleaned up the area filing bin bags they had brought for the purpose.

Yet another reason to love Japan.

Victory is remembered for at most two decades; an act of good sportsmanship is remembered for a lifetime.
