At the Zoo
I'm a bit ambivalent about zoos, but as there is one only 10 miles from our gite, and Ella has never been to one, we decided to visit it today. Her parents were having a day out with the baby and cousin Thomas and his parents - they all needed a rest from Ella, who, though full of fun, is at the terrible two stage so can be tiring. (Needless to say her behaviour was impeccable when she was out with just us).
Here she is chatting to a lemur - grandad was close behind just in case! She seemed to prefer the lemurs and meerkats to the lions, tigers, zebras and giraffes, though watching the gibbons went down well too. On the way home we had to play Jerry Lee Lewis, with Be-lop-a-lula on repeat. She seems to be teaching herself the words.
Now for a cup of tea while she has a nap.
