The Walled Garden

Scorchio weather continues! At lunchtime SJ and I took a brisk walk to Bangor Castle Walled Garden. The flowers are really beautiful and there are so many peonies that the fragrance fills the air - heavenly.

What could add a little extra something to a walled garden? A coffee house! There is one!

I got the best service ever, as when I discovered that (a) I had no cash and (b) they didn't take cards, the guy behind the counter said I could leave the money in 'sometime'!!! How cool is that? Obviously I will rush over tomorrow with the readies.

I must have looked hungry......
