Local faces in local places

A quiet day for me, trying to encourage the sore throat and cough to go away. I did go to Hexham for a food shop and enjoyed some cool fresh air; a pleasant contrast to the very high temperatures last week.

I'm still collecting images for the exhibition "Local Faces in Local Places" so decided to include one of Mum with her new embroidery.

She's not keen on the angle, but I'm trying out a technique used a lot by last week's tutor. (At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)
