it's over! the hay has been cut, dried, turned, rowed and taken in. Our neighbour makes beautiful eco-hay. There is a wonderful mix of grasses and herbs that flowers, goes to seed and only then gets cut. Wonderful for the ecosystem, everyone is happy. Especially the grass pollen allergy that resides in my body, because it has an extra few weeks to go completely crazy. But it's over for another year and now I can be mainly allergy free until the alder flowers next spring.
goodbye sneezing, goodbye eyes full of sandy-stuff, goodbye swollen lips, goodbye swollen tongue, goodbye burnt and swollen feeling down my throat, goodbye earache, headache and vertigo, goodbye stomach ache, swollen joints, feeling sick, sleeplessness and itchy blisters.
Hello hunger, hello being able to eat peanuts and olives, hello sitting outside without regretting it, hello not needing to live on lots of medication, hello shoes that fit again and rings that come off fingers, hello life....!
Tomorrow I am off to Sofia again - maybe for the last time. For the last time in that function anyway. Kind of bitter-sweet and plenty of goodbyes - some sad, some glad - and plenty of hello future too!
