Les diables rouges.

Tonight was the first match in the world cup for the Belgian team ( the red devils) against Algeria.

They has been a fever of excitement here as it is the first time for 12 years that they have qualified.There are flags everywhere and anything and everything is themed red yellow and black even toilet roll would you believe!

Thankfully they won 2:1 so there is hope to move to the next stage .

I am at the airport picking up hubby after a trip to Florence via Zurich and my blip is the team I spotted- only a cardboard cut out though ,at the Quick burger place next to the bar ,with needless to say a huge screen playing the next match .

Fingers crossed for the next England and Belgium matches.It is quite nice having 2 teams to support!
