Change is in the Air

After the performance of yesterday, things are way calmer today and The Boss spent a peaceful morning tidying a friends laptop and helping him change email addresses. We have had a rash of this, as one of our local providers (Xtra) which is actually run by Yahoo has had a very bad year with several bad hackings and folk have (very rightly) been abandoning them for other services that are smarter. I prefer Dmail myself but I do find it sometimes unreliable if there is a strong wind and often downloading takes longer than The Boss tolerates…Sigh. I hate to lose mail that way buy there is always more just round the corner.
The Bloke with The Boss this morning was having trouble with his glasses and at one time one of the glass bits fell out and The Boss just managed to stop him standing on it. There was a discussion after when “N” told the story of when he was camping and a friend had contacts. Apparently he used to spit on them before insertion but that day he accidently sucked instead of blowing. The Boss thinks I should stop at this point and I will as the story gets messy and involves sieves and later days but things did come out OK in the end and he continued to use the same (well travelled) bit of glass.
Really glad that dogs don’t do contacts. I have a special set of Glasses that I wear on special occasions so I look very educated….Cool! You can see me in them at the local eye shop, on the manager’s door.
