Blaze

A few weeks after Blaze was killed someone who had been working with me as an advisor asked me for my favourite recent photo of him. I gave her the most recent one I had, taken the last time I saw him alive, wondering what she was going to do with it.

I forgot all about it until earlier this week when she presented me with this portrait of him. I cried. I'm getting pretty good at that.

It looks so much like him with that twinkle in his eye and quirk of a smile. Beautiful. It gives me goosebumps.
