November 8th 1895 Wilhelm Rontgen discovered X -rays..........hopefully today X-rays discovered what is wrong with my knee.

Off to the doctor's this morning.........the young doctor............she had my trousers rolled up and gave my knee a good prod and a poke...........and then booked me in for an x-ray........to be followed by a telephone consultation......and then?

Maybe physiotherapy........or cortisone..........or even surgery.

To the hospital after work........the radiographer had my trousers off in next to no time..........she was politeness and efficiency personified............x-ray 1 standing/balancing on a block with all body weight on the dodgy knee...........x-ray 2 lying on my side on the bed with the knee bent.

I'm paying for it now.......the knee is locked and smarting a tad.......but at least some progress is being made.
