Rainbows

Firstly, thank you all so much for giving Blaze his day in the Spotlight. If he were alive to know about it he'd get a real kick out of it! He'd tell me it was because he was 'delicious'. Then he'd snort with laughter.

Secondly, thank goodness for light play. This is the time of year when it's dark when I go to work and dark when I head home in the evening. I got home half an hour ago wondering what I was going to find at home to blip. When I saw my ironing board still set up for the water/light photos I took last week (or was it the week before?) I figured this was my best bet for a photo.

I have absolutely no idea how I captured this particular configuration but I thought it was kinda cool. This is SOOC. Definitely brighter rainbows than the ones on my car on Tuesday!

The funny pale rings you can see on the cd are the marks from where I put the water drops last time. I obviously didn't buff it off properly! I saw a photo recently where they'd done this sort of thing but they'd used a spray bottle for the water - me, I didn't think of that, so put all the droplets on individually. Tonight, thinking to make it easier for myself, I went look for a spray bottle. Nope. None to be found in my house. So hand applied once again.
