Day at home, mostly preparing stuff for elder one's birthday; so shopping, present, cards, food etc.

Grey morning but it gave way to sunshine by lunchtime as I headed for Lidl and mozzarella bread olives general tapas nibbles.

The plan was to meet up at the Meadows after work, have a glass of chilled white wine and some snacks.

Which we did; very soothing, a happy relaxed vibe there.

And in an instant, two hours had passed....! Then back home to continue with birthday stuff..... Helpfully the parents have turned chicken and run to Orkney, wtf they are doing or trying to prove is anyone's guess.

Just defies....anything?
