Finally

Our first red poppy.

I've been seeing them in other people's photos for a couple of weeks and wondering why I hadn't seen any here.

The small hours of Monday night through to Tuesday morning were horrible. I couldn't breathe and got really distressed so I rummaged through cupboards until I found 2 x different (out-of-date) anti-histamines. And then I propped myself up with loads of cushions downstairs and waited for sleep to come.

Tess had a sore throat and a cough in the morning so she had to stay home.

I'm filling this in 2 days later and it's all a bit vague. I feel like I lost a couple of days.
