Going Home

When I commuted to Canary Wharf every day, I never noticed scenes like this and hated the place. But today arriving with my camera was a positive delight - so many superb blip opportunities.

I arrrived against the traffic when most were going the other way on their way home. I have called it Going Home because of that- I had to fight my way off the tube onto the platform against hordes of people heading home. It was very therapeutic to be going the other way for purely social reason. Seeing the station looking so amazing helped to banish some of the demons that still lurk in me when I think about my former employer. I was marvelling at the station and looking forward to a glass of wine with friends
