Dog and Pony at the Old Globe

Went to the premiere of a new musical at the Old Globe Theatre. The show was called Dog and Pony. It was clearly a work in progress and has a great deal of room to grow, however, there was much about the show that worked very well. Much of act two had the audience rolling in the aisles with laughter. The cast was very talented and included my friend Heidi Blickenstaff. I met her when she performed on Disney Cruise Line and we have remained friends ever since. She met me after the show and we had a great moment of catching up. I hope that the writers are able to continue cleaning and cutting this musical that that perhaps it may have a successful life off-Broadway in New York.
