Flowering together

Sydney has a mild climate all year round although some would disagree with me on that matter.
Even in the "Heart of Winter" there is always something flowering. This Bougainvillea has set flower in the midst of another perennial shrub and even though it is considered a tropical plant, it takes very well to our Sydney weather.

It's a climber and can often be seen taking over quite tall trees.
