Fotheringham Bridge

Built in 1953 in Haylodge Park just upstream from the Minister's Pool. The crossings of the Tweed are a subject of research all on their own. It was the gift of a Peebles man John S. Fotheringham, who established a prosperous business in South Africa and was at one stage of his career Mayor of Johannesburg.
