Loch Lomond from Conic Hill

A glorious day to set out with friends to climb the sharp little summit rising above Balmaha called Conic Hill, and look across Loch Lomond's islands to its western banks. Right on the Highland Boundary Fault, this hillwalk provides fantastic views. There is a good path on the ascent, with wooden or stone steps although the detour from the West Highland Way to the summit involves a short rocky scramble, which is rather tricky on the descent!

Great to see so many people enjoying Scotland looking its best. In large, see the walking group taking a break on the right of the picture. See WalkHighlands for detailed plan of walk.
