bike riding at CSUF
I had to run over to Cal State Fullerton, where I work to get a parking pass and free tickets to a Steve Miller Band concert. However, it was a beautiful 80 degree winter day in So Cal, so I rode my bike. It was fun to ride around and enjoy the various locations right on campus like the Arboretum. I love making my students walk out and draw some of the trees and plants that represent various ecosystems like deserts, pine forests, redwood trees and even the tropical rainforest. It is good to see so many labeled bike friendly pathways and even elevators. However, they make it clear where I cannot ride too. Rules, always rules. The building in the lower center is the Humanities Building, where I teach Geography. The one on the lower right is the Heritage House and it is in the arboretum as well. It was fun to ride around and really look at some places that I often take for granted.
