Deflation, disappointment and delight

Had an early morning chat at work that left me feeling really quite deflated. Nobody's fault. Just the way things are :-(

This was followed by a pretty challenging day of dealing with a lot of disappointment from a fair number of people. All of it understandable :-(

Fortunately the day was finished off with delight as hubby presented me with a gift. Hubby never buys me gifts. Ever. I was a bit worried because I knew he'd been to Ikea and the gift was in the shape of a very large picture frame. Thank god, it was not filled with Ikea art. Instead he'd framed a photo I'd taken of the boys a couple of years ago.

Hubby saved my day :-)
