The tread/siping on Armadilloes appears to have gone a bit daft, unless 28s are now deemed to belong to the fatter Nimbus group. The mudguard just fits, perhaps with a little rattling when bits of grit stick to the wheel to be expected, as there was when I briefly attempted to stick a 25 at the front on the previous frame where the fiddlier mount meant the guard had to sit a little closer to the wheel. Tomorrow's attempted outing will involve lots of canal, which would be better experienced with something bouncier than a 23 at 120psi between the handlebars and ground.
