Bark

Well I liked the effect from my blipper mate MShelley's recent hebe shot, so I went out and recreated the camera settings and took 25 photographs. All bar three came out black probably because it was in the shade and not bright sunlight as hers was, so here is the best of the three, it is the bark on an Arbutus tree if you were wondering. I would put this down to experimentation and tomorrow will try again. Maybe in the sun or slower shutter speed or higher ISO or "auto" ( no I didn't say that).
Now what's for dinner?
