Lochgilphead, Loch Fyne. Last night - Wednesday - we booked into a camp site to top up with water & electricity and dump all unmentionables. The town was only a few minutes walk from the camp site and a quick look for fish or meat to cook on the the BBQ was a priority, and fish it was.
Meeting fellow Blipper Mother Shipton
This morning we met Mother Shipton who lives nearby, a lovely day chatting and eating with a walk along Crinan Canal. Thank you MS most enjoyable! Later John looked for beavers, (taking the road back towards Crinan and turning left to Achnamara into Knapdale), he found evidence of their activities but no beaver. We continued driving along the small road looking for a place to park for the night ending up just past Castle Sween. The views are stunning and the overnight stop looks over Loch Sween to the Paps of Jura. Two cars have passed since parking, birds and sheep are our entertainment
A warm sunny day
