Sayonara

Another sayonara party today. The ex pat life is great but can be transient. If you are lucky you fit into a community that makes it hard to say goodbye.

These two have been here longer than most, finding time for a wedding, two children and plenty of memory making during their time in Japan. Always quick to welcome newbies to the city, it is easy to see why so many people wanted to celebrate with them today. Here they are watching their sayonara memory movie- think they and the rest of us were a little overwhelmed.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it's happened.
