Ladies Day

I had the full ex pat experience today with a fun group of ladies. First stop was that famous American wholesale warehouse to stock up on essentials and the cheapest lunch in town.

We recovered from our retail therapy with an equally famous coffee brand after which, suitably revived, we checked out the Japanese recycling shops (second hand to the rest of us.) The dolls in the photo were quite expensive and took up a couple of display cases. An afternoon of fun and laughter and some bargains thrown in plus some unneeded items that inexplicably found their way into my trolley!

The odds of going to the store for a loaf of bread and coming out with only a loaf of bread are three billion to one.
