Photo shoot for a ringlet

I called in to see if there were any Common Blues in the Heathland area where I saw so many last year - but there were none in view.

Several Meadow Browns were battling and highly flighty. I did get a shot of one which had hardly any wing left. Bold but not defeated !

Ringlets were fluttering further along the path and being very evasive. All but one. She (?) decided she wanted to be my blip today. She settled on ferns, clearly posing. Then she sat amid some pretty white flowers. And finally - posing on long leaves.

Maybe it's "X Factor" for her next ?
