Somewhere near Ragusa

This isn't quite what I had in mind when envisioning my lovely holiday - this is enforced relaxation due to injury!

When we got to Syracuse last night we went for a quick walk around before checking into our hotel, and that's when I lost my footing on some uneven stone steps and sprained my left foot. It was shockingly painful.

All things considered, it seemed sensible to move on to our final destination two days early, where I can laze on a sun lounger by the pool in beautiful gardens and minimise the walking (or hobbling) whilst applying ice and keeping my foot elevated. What a drag!
