Birthday Bears

As part of the Brownie 100th birthday, all the little Brownies were taken to the Build A Bear Workshop to stuff their own bear.

They had a wonderful time. Later they were taken to Stanemuir (the location of MANY a great Brownie weekend!) for dinner, cake, a very long game of Rounders and lots of dib dib dib singing round the campfire.

They had a wonderful time. They didn't want to leave !

In a few months No 3 will return for her first Brownie Pack holiday. We even had to cancel a holiday to Portugal to let her go !

It was very quiet around Weegie Base camp. an Idle day - that I should have spent doing worthwhile things. Mr S was VERY productive - he cleaned the oven ! (I threatened to get a man in to do it when he volunteered - he's very Presbyterian when it comes to spending money on cleaners as you all know!)

Summer solstice. My Mum and Dad would sit outside - hail, rain or shine with a wee whiskey - to see in the longest day (sometimes in fur coats and umbrellas!)
