Ben Macdui and Derry Cairngorm from Beinn a'Bhuird

Another lovely day in the Cairngorms, this time climbing Beinn a'Bhuird ... a 17 mile hike made easier by a lovely path right up to the summit plateau courtesy of the National Trust of Scotland.

The summit cairn sits on a rather featureless plateau, but there are lovely views over to the other hills of the Cairngorms in one direction and some impressive cliffs a short distance away in the other direction.
