Daaaarling!

Spent the day at Effie's fete helping to raise money for a very brave little girl and her family. At the beginning of this year Effie was diagnosed with Late infantile Batten disease, a disorder of the nervous system which is always fatal. I don't know Effie or her parents but a friend of mine who has been involved with another group of Mums in setting up the fete asked if I would take some photos. We did a backdrop of balloons and had some fancy dress props.

There were lots of things for the kids to do although poor old Tobes was feeling poorly and just wanted to cuddle up on my knee and go to sleep by mid afternoon. It was a really successful day as there were a lot of people there and they must have raised a good amount to help with Effie's care. Having pics taken wasn't high on the list of priorities for most of the kids there but we did get a few and it was a good practice opportunity for me too.
