Ant's Eye View
Our last day in Romania. We had a quiet day as we had to be up at 2 the following morning to get to the airport for our flight home.
The morning was spent in the largest, most representative and well preserved wooded habitat, with hornbeam and oak trees, in central and eastern Europe on the Breite Plateau near Sighisoara. I had a fish-eye lens with me and couldn't resist an ant's eye view of the toadstool.
