Summer flowers

I do love the pretty wild flowers of summer - they evoke such a bright and happy feeling to see them dotted about the countryside.

I finished editing the photos I took of the jazz band last night and was just about to start looking at journals when I got a phone call from the police. A very close friend's daughter has run away and it really has been quite upsetting. The police have asked that as many people as possible share the links on facebook and other sites, which I have done but here is the link from Surrey police.. We obviously hope that she is found as quickly as possible, it is completely out of character for her.

Tomorrow I am finally doing a Nikon course on my speedlight - I have had to use it on many occasions and it has been a trial and error exercise as I really do not know which settings to use when. Hopefully I will come home more knowledgeable after the course.
