To Again Wait

Normally one is allowed to operate the lock gates on the canal without supervision.

However, at the moment, one is not allowed to use this guillotine lock at Slaithwaite. This is because the mechanism is worn out and needs to be treated very gently.

So we had a short time to wait for the operators from the Canal and River Trust to see us safely through.
