Gymkhana

We went off to a gymkhana, not far from where we live.
Quite a small event but held on a beautiful estate at Hainton.
Although I got quite a few good photos of horses/ponies and their young riders over jumps etc. it was this little mite who fascinated me.
It seems they (folk who can afford to keep a pony) start their young off early. This tiny person could only have been two if that! She could barely speak and still had her push chair to hand. However, she sat on her pony like a natural, knew she had to have on her hard hat, knew when a foot wasn't in a stirrup and insisted on her foot being put back in, she knew where her hands should be and looked so confident. Wow!
We had a thoroughly enjoyable day!
