Ludborough

Went to have a look at the steam train at Ludborough.
They've done a great job of recreating a platform of pre-Beecham time. Several old carriages have been turned into a lovely cafe. It stilll has it's signal box although the gates across the road have to be opened and closed by hand.
There was also a vintage car rally in a field nearby where we found the first car we ever bought! If I say it had a split windscreen which you could wind open and a runner board it might give you an idea of long ago that was!
We visited an out of the way church and then went for a Sunday lunch. Very nice.
