Day 10: More football

In the early hours of the morning, Bosnia and Herzegovina played their second match of the world cup.

Like the last match, people were really excited for hours before, honking their horns, getting dressed up. There wasn't any free space in any of the bars in the city.

I watched the game at City Pub in the centre with other interns and assorted Erasmus students. Needless to say, everybody was gutted at the offside decision, and the possible foul before Nigeria's goal. It's a real shame, because Bosnia's team had a lot of promise, and everybody here was so excited for their first international tournament. I really wanted Bosnia to go far, especially after England were out earlier in the week
