Mid-process

Tidying morning. Bedside table groaning so removed the books that had been read or realistically weren't going to be and took to the bookshelves downstairs. The books on these shelves have been ordered by colour, or more specifically the colour of their spine. Turns out, while this might look pretty it is not that helpful for actually finding a book. Should you remember the general colour of the book, it is not necessarily so that the spine colour will correspond and the chances of remembering it are significantly less probable. So I decided to reorganise the books, this time going for the far more sensible "by genre" option. Surprisingly this doesn't take five minutes and so I had to abandon the task midway through as we were due to spend the afternoon at a friends' house. I'm sure finishing this job will be a marvellous cure for my hangover tomorrow following a 40th tonight.
