Back at work today after a full weekend (yet to be backblipped). Only at work for one day, mind, as we're off on our family summer holiday tomorrow.

That holiday in a literal sense as there's only one day when all five of us are available to go anywhere together, so we're back tomorrow evening before we start dispersing again!

J finished exams today - there is much relaxation going on. Indeed, drifts of dramatic music and rumbles of explosions are emanating from the Xbox as I type.

Being Monday it was a shopping lunch, but I paused by the pond for quite a while in the warm sunshine (before it was replaced by torrential rain later this afternoon). For a long time nothing settled quite long enough - then eventually this fellow obliged with a few seconds on the reeds.
