Finale

My Beeb running it's last programs before being packed off, with the Atom and Dad's Beeb and ZX81, to the Centre for Computing History this afternoon.

We'd set up the Beeb and an old Windows machine for the party and the playing of dire and archaic games was enjoyed by a couple of generations.

The Centre was an Aladdin's Cave of antique machinery - from proper computers with big twirly tape drives, to the curious and almost forgotten NXT cube.

It's a pity the centre is surrounded by such a dump of a site and access through perhaps the least pretty industrial estate we have.
