in the cactus - which are in a riot of blossoms - on the ridge out back

they hit at this time every year - bright yellow - bringing with them - a steady stream of bees - busy with their gathering - so much so - that many times - it appears they are so heavily laden - they can barely get out of the flower blossom - almost drunk with the pollen - stumbling around - it's a funny sight - but so necessary for them - i simply watch in fascination - the whole process - as they pay me - no nevermind - it's nature at its very best - and it's free - now that makes for...
