Eight Spot Skimmer

The pond here at home is alive with insects flying every which way. I love the skimmers, as they really stand out. They often fly away, and come back to perch over and over on the same spot.

It was a really warm humid day...still hot out there, but enjoyable to have some sun and warm weather. Heading to the boat tomorrow!
