Trifle

What a great start to the day! I messed around the house after getting up late. Hubby had gone off to the dentist and midday arrived and went while I was still in my dressing gown! I picked recipes out online and eventually found a few to mix and match from to make a Bobotie (a lovely South African dish we had on holiday last year).

Hubby and I headed out in the afternoon and hit the BMW garage and test drove the X1. Very nice, but not ready to spend that much money on a new car, when there is no problems with my 120d. Then poor hubby put up with me doing a bit of shopping at Waitrose. We had a coffee there at the cafe, oh and shared a pastry! Then we headed to B&Q and it was my turn to put up with the perusing of power tools. Next we headed into town and I got some clothes half price in the sale at Camps.

When we got home I got stuck in making the Bobotie which turned out really yummy. And after we had eaten the Bobotie we had trifle. Now we normally only have trifle once a year. Hubby makes it for Christmas Day. However this year he made it.... without the sponge in the jelly. Oops! So I got him to make it again.... yummy!
