Busy Little Bee

Dear Diary,

The garden is humming and buzzing and alive with activity. The bees especially seem frantic to take advantage of the surplus of blooms. This bee positively buried himself in the pollen rich stamens of this fully open peony. Sometimes he would disappear and then re-emerge somewhere else. This wasn't a simple "hit and run" thing with him. I could almost feel his joy in the experience!

He reminds me that it is so important to fully engage with the present moment; to revel in the joyous and bury oneself in the experience, whatever it is. The only truly important thing is what is happening right now.

Sometimes you will not realize the importance of the present moment until it becomes a memory.

Trying to live in the moment...
