Strong winds

It's been a beautiful warm winters day in greater Cape Town. I am blessed to live close to the mountain where we seem to catch the NW wind, which brings the rain more than other areas. I don't mind as we miss the summer SE gales. I dawdled about this morning taking in the sights as I drove about and ended up being late to fetch C. I was made even later by this tree which had a wind-torn branch and was being cut down by the city council. I've loads of fire wood in stock as we are in for a stormy few days.
