Waiting.....

....for Mummy to come home.
She is very happy when I am minding her, but there comes a time when she really thinks it's time Mummy got back.

It was snowing when I caught the 7:12 train this morning. Only a brief flurry, but enough to convince me I wasn't imagining it was cold.
When I got home at 6:30pm I planned to cook a rack of lamb for dinner, only to find the oven timer pinging. The only way to stop it was prise open the glass covering the clock and manually move the hand. However that didn't make the oven work so had to BBQ the lamb, which took some time in this weather I can tell you.
As for the stove, a new one was supposed to arrive 3 weeks ago, but still hasn't come and apparently will be another 4 or 5 weeks. Meanwhile no roasts or cakes.

PS. Thank you for all the positive feedback on my dophin yesterday, which helped him dive into the Spotlight. I'm sorry I haven't had time to get back to everyone yet.
