Beach Bottom

Sam walked behind me at the top of the sand dune and dislodged a tonne of sand right down the back of my sizeable undercrackers as I was leaning forward to push Tess' sledge down the dune. At least I'll have lovely smooth exfoliated bum cheeks. And feet. And achy thighs from pretending I was Lawrence of Arabia (in my own head) walking back up the dunes.

Sam saved a lot of beetles after nearly burying them by dislodging even more sand.

Excitement on the way home when we spotted a fantastic Mr fox.....that turned out to be a rusty dockin leaf. But the wee fledgling reed warbler that didn't know to be afraid of stinky humans yet fairly let us up close so Sam was happy.

Tess was happy too, safe bet when we take her to the beach.
